Top five games coming out this week on Xbox, PlayStation and PC – Monday, May 23


As we reach the halfway point of 2022, there are still plenty of videogames to look forward to every week. With a wide range of consoles and platform to play on nowadays, you are bound to find something coming out this week to suit your unique tastes.

Among the games coming to Xbox, Playstation and PC this week includes a new immersive shooter, a throwback to one of the oldest videogames ever and a movie adaptation to a fan-favourite flight simulator. We’ve rounded up all of this week’s releases.

MX vs ATV Legends – May 24

For dirt racing fans out there, MX vs ATV Legends provides a selection of massive new open environments coupled with a career mode to allow players to become a world-famous professional rider. The off-road game includes a split-screen option for two players so you can invite a friend over to compete with them.

The game’s career mode also allows players to make their own choices which will lead to branching paths, different sponsorship opportunities and a variety of special invitational events to get involved in. Customisation options are also available for players who enjoy tweaking their vehicles with a variety of parts and gears from famous real-life off-road racing manufacturers.

Sniper Elite 5 – May 26

Sniper Elite 5 will be the latest edition to the award-winning series- this time taking place in France, 1944. The latest title will feature the classic authentic sniping experience fans have come to expect with an improved kill cam.

This time, players will be taking on the role of Karl Fairburne, a covert US marksman who must help the French resistance fight against the Nazis after uncovering a secret project that threatens to destroy the Allies. To increase the immersiveness of the game, Sniper Elite 5 will feature a variety of real-world locations that have been captured using photogrammetry.

Pac-Man Museum+ – May 27

Bandai Namco is offering a blast to the past with its new compilation of fan-favourite Pac-Man games, ranging from the original maze games to puzzle games and platformers. The game will also feature five titles which have never been included in a collection before such as: Pac Motos, PAC ‘N ROLL Remix and PAC-IN-TIME.

A worldwide leaderboard will also be available so players can challenge others all over the world at their favourite Pac-Man games while competing to be the best.

Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers – May 27

Arcade Spirits is a visual novel game that should appeal to any gamer who enjoys going to the arcade. Taking place in the distant future during an alternate timeline where arcades never fell out of fashion, it is up to the player to seek a partner to play with in an esports tournament.

The real appeal of the game, however, is in the many choices the game offers to build a variety of relationships while uncovering a strange arcade conspiracy.

Microsoft Flight Simulator: Top Gun Maverick expansion – May 27
