He’s at it again.

Today’s victim of his Twitter babbling is an 18-year-old girl, tennis star Emma Raducanu, from Bromley, who is tonight (September 11) competing in the final of The US Open.

For those of you who may have forgotten, Mr Morgan stormed off set eight minutes into Tuesday, February 9’s show after being challenged by co-host Alex Beresford, for his views on Meghan Markle, following she and Prince Harry’s CBS interview with Oprah Winfrey.
And more recently, he’s been accused of talking down to Emma, who tonight competes for the US Open trophy.
The 56-year-old tweeted: “Good luck @EmmaRaducanu – the astoundingly impressive & inspiring way you’ve bounced back from that Wimbledon choke tells me you have what it takes to be a champion. Now go prove it. #USOpen ”
Unsurprisingly, people have leapt to Emma’s defence in light of Piers’ ‘patronising’ tweet.
One user wrote: “Hahahaha talking about an elite sportsperson choking when you bottled a debate with the weather fella.”
“Do you think she reads these? Do you not think you’re putting excessive pressure on her if so?” wrote another.
A third said: “Piers don’t be negative saying ‘choke’!

“She had a wobble, but has improved massively since Wimbledon & has a wonderful chance tonight to become a Grand Slam Champion. I stayed up the other night & watched both semis & Fernandez is the real deal too. Should be epic!”
But this wasn’t to be outdone by a forth who called Piers a “vile man.”
