The really healthy salad that Kate Middleton has for lunch ‘all the time’

The Duchess of Cambridge is well known for always being immaculately put together, so it’s no surprise that she’s careful with what she eats.

With royal duties only growing as she and William become more senior in The Firm, Kate needs as much energy as she can get, and eats mostly vegetarian.

When it comes to lunchtimes Kate has a clear favourite that she is said to enjoy ‘all the time’, according to Hello, that’s so easy for you to try at home.

The salad is watermelon based giving it a wonderful and refreshing taste, but also adding in some lovely healthy ingredients to give it a kick.

Kate is said to pair her watermelon chunks with cucumber wedges, avocado, diced onion, and crumbled feta cheese, topping all this off with a delicate mint garnish.

This recipe whilst so simple to put together blends the perfect mix of sweet juicy pink watermelon with the other savoury ingredients.

The dish is also full of nutrients making it an ideal one to have for a light lunch.

Sometimes Kate might even add the odd handful of Olives to her salads too as she once revealed they’re her favourite to snack on.

While visiting Great Ormond Street children’s hospital, she spoke to four-year-old Rafael Chana who explained that he likes olives, to which Kate replied: “I used to eat lots and lots of olives when I was little as well.”
