Hamilton’s former flashy motor was wrecked after it crashed inside the Penmaenbach tunnel on the A55 in Conwy, North Wales.

The story broke earlier this week and dashcam footage of the accident has now emerged on social media.

The video shows the car veering out of control before it smashes into both sides of the tunnel with the driver later emerging from the wreckage unscathed.

Not only did the shocking footage catch people’s attention but also the woman’s reaction to the event.

The short clip begins with appears to be a couple having a conversation as the supercar slips past.

A woman can be heard saying: “Do you think he went to McDonald’s for something to eat?”

As the supercar enters the tunnel, it’s engine can be heard roaring.

While driving through the tunnel, the woman can be heard saying the car is “too close” to the one in front and it loses control.

The woman can be heard exclaiming: “Crash Gary, he’s crashed. Gary! Gary!

“Slow down, slow down. Oh my God. Oh is he alright or dead?

“Oh that stupid car.”

The man, seemingly unfazed, replies: “I’ve got it on video.”

The car the couple are driving in, slows down as it approaches the accident, with the woman saying: “A car will crash into us if we’re not careful. Is he alright?

“Gary pull over. Put your thingys on (hazard lights). Oh my God, is he alright?”

As they drive past the wreckage in the right-hand lane, a man can be seen emerging out of the passenger door and appears to be uninjured and the couple ask if he’s okay.

Many social media users who shared the footage commented on the woman’s reaction rather than the horror crash itself.

One said: “Didn’t even watch the crash, was just howling at the woman shouting Gary.”

Another commented: “She’s killing me off.”

While another added: “Sort it out Gary.”

The F1 star made a healthy £7million profit after selling the rare supercar for £8.5m last year.

The 36-year-old purchased the vehicle for £1.6m with the motor specifically made for the seven-time Formula One world champion.

The one-off car, which boasts a purple exterior, was personally ordered from Horacio Pagani by Hamilton seven years ago.

The Zonda 760 LH is capable of reaching 217mph, and can go from 0-60mph in less than three seconds.
