It is quite well-known that Prince Louis is considered to be the most boisterous of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three children as his parents have spoken out several times about his behaviour. Whether it is when Prince William revealed that “Louis just enjoys playing outside the whole time – he lives outside” or when Catherine joked about her fears for her youngest son as he likes to be “in the middle of everything”, there are several examples to choose from.
The Cambridge Family recently joined The Queen and other royals for the Easter break at Windsor Castle and were pictured leaving yesterday (April 18). While waiting fans also got their first glimpse of Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna Mapelli Mozzi, it was Prince Louis who stole the show.
Louis, who turns four later this week (April 23), had royal watchers in hysterics as he desperately tried to launch himself into the car boot as the bags were being loaded. After a few attempts, the prince resorted to a successful running jump – much to the crowd’s amusement.
The Queen has this special Easter drink every single year and it is really fancy
The Royal Family gathered at St George’s Chapel in Windsor to celebrate Easter Sunday (April 17), before travelling back to the castle for lunch.
While fans got a glimpse of several of The Queen’s great-grandchildren, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte, younger brother Prince Louis was nowhere to be seen.
It is royal tradition that the family spends the Easter holidays at Windsor Castle before travelling home and that trend was carried on this year as several family members were spotted leaving yesterday (April 18).
In a video obtained by The Daily Mail from a person in the crowd, Prince Louis can be seen leading the way and causing mischief as his family packs up the car.
The youngest of the Cambridge children can be seen trying desperately hard to climb into the boot as his parents and nanny load up the car to head off home.
After a few failed attempts and a helping hand from his mum, Prince Louis decides a running jump is the best course of action. After a successful leap, Louis can be seen entering the car and getting into his seat next to his brother and sister.
While Louis certainly attracted the most attention, royal fans also spied The Earl and Countess of Wessex and their two children preparing to leave the castle.
In separate pictures, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s daughter Sienna was seen in public for the first time, as well as Edo’s son from his previous relationship, Wolfie.
When the video was published on social media, royal fans were quick to express their love for Prince Louis’ behaviour. One person wrote: “ A real Royal family in action! With the youngest little one full of little boy energy!! I love how calm Prince William and Catherine are!!”
Another commenter praised The Duchess of Cambridge and said: “She’s so patient letting him try them helping him instead of being in a hurry and making him go in the door.”
One fan questioned: “I think he’s probably a handful…which is why he hasn’t joined the family at the recent events like Easter service and DoE’s memorial, I’m thinking he probably doesn’t sit still for long.”
And a final quipped: “No wonder they did not bring him to church yesterday! He made me smile watching him moving backwards and running to jump into the boot.”
