LINGFIELD RACING LEAGUE THURSDAY

STREET KID can come back from eight months off with a win. He has shown all his best form on the all-weather and signed off with a cosy success at Wolverhampton in November.

This trip is ideal and a 1lb rise for that success looks more than fair.

Danzan ended a long losing run at Thirsk 12 days ago and is another who has been given a chance by the handicapper.

Aberama Gold is interesting trying this distance for the first time in three years. He has been running well in strong contests and has solid place claims.

CONSENSUS DE VEGA got off the mark with something left in the tank over course and distance last month.

The handicapper hasn’t over-reacted with an opening handicap mark of 81 and she looks open to improvement.

Reversion ran his best race for a long time when a half-length second at Sandown latest.

Trainer Alan King has reached for a first-time visor and he’ll be in the mix again.

Buckshaw Village landed a couple of all-weather wins last Autumn and has looked rusty on both turf runs this season.

Returning to his favourite track could do the trick.

IMMORTAL BEAUTY looked a really nice prospect when scoring on handicap debut on the July course at Newmarket 12 days ago.

A 5lb rise for that success looks lenient and stepping up from six furlongs can bring improvement for Richard Hannon’s filly.

Kiss N Cuddle was collared late at Doncaster’s Racing League fixture last week and will be competitive again.

Kingdom Of Dreams shaped well enough in second on handicap debut at Yarmouth and is back from the same fair mark.

6.40

ROYAL AVIATION was a neck third over a mile here last month when finishing off strongly.

He has had just a small nudge up the weights and this longer distance should be right up his street.

Postmark got better as the race went on when winning a Ffos Las mile contest.

He has since moved for Milton Harris and should give Frankie Dettori a good ride.

Le Forban didn’t get going at Goodwood last time but was an easy winner the last time he tackled this course and distance in June. He’s 5lb higher now but should be competitive.

7.10

JEWEL MAKER was impressive when scoring easily at Haydock at the weekend.

He relished his first crack at this distance and had lots in hand crossing the line.

A 4lb penalty shouldn’t stop Tim Easterby’s hope following up.

Menai Bridge has shown his best form here and was beaten in a photo over course and distance three starts ago.

He is back from the same mark with every chance. Tregony was a solid second at Sandown dropped to this distance last time and trainer Clive Cox is in decent form.

7.40

DESERT EMPEROR was a good fourth in hot company at Chester last time. He wasn’t helped by a stall 12 draw at the Roodee and had to burn a lot of petrol to hit the front a bit too early.

He boxed on well and has a more experienced rider in the saddle today.

Neandra was a six-length winner over course and distance 19 days ago and an 8lb rise in the weights may not be enough.

That was just her fourth run so Andrew Balding’s filly should have more to offer.

Storm Castle won nicely at Chelmsford and is another with few miles on the clock. Hayley Turner should get a nice tune from the Gosden runner.

8.10

COUNTRY PYLE has really improved this season and went close in a big-field handicap at Newbury before a convincing win at Goodwood.

She wasn’t suited by dropping back to 1m5f last time but still ran well in a close-up third.

She is off the same mark and looks like Frankie’s best chance of a winner on the card.

Blame It On Sally came back from two years off to finish a close second over course and distance 29 days ago.

If he progresses from that, he’ll be right there.

Diamond Bay has been knocking on the door and stayed well when a close third at Kempton. He has more to offer over staying trips.
