People love the revenge I got on screaming teen passenger who ruined my 11-hour flight… he was terrified of me
A WOMAN grew tired of a screaming teen during a flight from hell, but her revenge left him paralyzed with fear.
The Reddit user shared her nightmare experience on the social media site where she soon went viral.
She explained how she was on an international flight to Europe and her overnight flight was 11 hours long.
There was a large group of teen students on the plane, sitting around her aisle seat in the middle row.
The 19-year-old said: “Seated directly in front of me was a teenage boy.
“He was one of the campers, and at most 16 years old”.
After a relaxing first two hours on board, the tired traveller decided to take a nap, but was rudely awoken by a loud noise.
“I opened my eyes to see that Kevin [fake name] was wide awake, happily chatting with the girl next to him and the guy across the aisle from him,” she said.
She was left annoyed when she realised it had only been less than an hour since she’d fallen asleep.
The teen traveller waited for the chatter to stop but they only grew louder, until it was unbearable.
“Kevin was especially loud, the volume of his voice was similar to that of a ten-year-old on a school bus, not a high schooler on a crowded, 11 hour flight,” she complained.
The Reddit user, known as Starry_Gecko, was not the only passenger struggling to get some sleep on the lengthy flight.
She also mentioned how people around her were becoming visibly irritated with the level of noise coming from Kevin too.
“I politely, but firmly, asked Kevin and his crew to either turn it down or stop talking, since there were other people on the plane and we were all trying to sleep.
“They stopped for about 15 minutes, during which I almost managed to fall back into blissful sleep but then they resumed their conversation, Kevin loud and proud,” she said.
After hours of the screeching torture and high pitched laughs coming from Kevin and his gang of friends, he then started fidgeting and bouncing in his seat.
The Redditor expressed how she was beginning to lose her patience but didn’t complain to the annoying teen as she was so exhausted.
When they landed, Kevin then accidentally elbowed her in the face and this is when she took her “terrifying” revenge.
“I gave him what must have been the worst, most hateful death glare I have ever given anyone in my life.
“I didn’t see my face, nor could I replicate it if I wanted to, but he immediately stopped laughing, turned back and sat still,” she wrote.
And in a bizarre turn of events, the woman told how two weeks later on her flight back home she encountered the same group of teens.
“We made eye contact, and I could see he recognized me, his eyes widened and I could’ve sworn I saw him gulp.
“I didn’t register that until the flight, hours later, he was seated in front of me again, but this time, he was quiet and stiff as a board.
“He was scared of me, my death glare from two weeks prior was enough to keep him quiet for the next 10 hours,” she said.
She finished the post with: “Needless to say I had a great, restful flight, as did everyone else in that section. I sincerely hope Kevin learned something from this”.
Readers were quick to flock to the comment section, expressing their sympathy and stabbing jokes at the situation.
One wrote: “Id have been kicking the back of the little jerks seat the whole way there. But I’m petty.”.
Another joked: “Omg “that look” can cut deep or scare the crap out of us”.
This follows the story of a plane passenger who chopped off a woman’s hair after it blocked his TV screen.
