The NFL’s wild-card round is set and a dozen teams will begin their postseason quests over the next few days.

Each conference’s No. 1 seed — the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles — get to enjoy a week of rest while the chaos unfolds.

You can check out our NFL wild-card betting guide below, including the odds for every game and our featured staff picks to help you make the best wagers.

NFL wild-card betting odds

Saturday night’s showdown between Justin Herbert vs. Trevor Lawrence should be an exciting appetizer for the remaining four contests.

The Jacksonville Jaguars ran the table to close out their season but the Los Angeles Chargers are a slight 2.5-point road favourite, even with some injury concerns.

The Buffalo Bills (-13.5) take on the Tua Tagovailoa-less Miami Dolphins in Orchard Park to start Sunday’s action. It’s been an emotional few weeks for Bills Mafia, but now there is an opportunity for Josh Allen and Co. to put their foot on the gas.

Then, the New York Giants take on the Minnesota Vikings (-3) before the Cincinnati Bengals (-9.5) host a Baltimore Ravens team down Lamar Jackson on Sunday Night Football.

The wild-card drama will reach a crescendo on Monday Night Football when Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Expect to see a fair share of hot takes on Tuesday morning.

In addition to our staff roundup, which features ATS picks on every wild-card game, we’ve made predictions for all six games on the slate.

Dolphins vs. Bills picks : The preseason Super Bowl favourite Bills have an opportunity to beat up on a divisional rival this weekend. With Tagovailoa sidelined, Miami should struggle to get anything going on offence.

Dolphins vs. Bills props : Dawson Knox erupted for the Bills in last year’s wild-card round and our Steven Psihogios expects him to turn in another strong performance against a Dolphins defence that allowed the eighth-most yards to tight ends this season.

Giants vs. Vikings picks : The Vikings have mastered the art of winning close games this season and are modest 3-point favourites against the Giants. Brian Daboll’s squad has impressed this season but Minnesota should be able to take care of business at home.

Giants vs. Vikings props : Saquon Barkley had himself a season and our Jordan Horrobin expects him to feature heavily in New York’s passing attack this Sunday. His quarterback — Daniel Jones — found success against Minnesota the last time these teams met up, too.

Ravens vs. Bengals picks : This could have been a great matchup if both teams were healthy but unfortunately, that’s not the case. Points should be scarce for a Ravens team that is missing its star quarterback against a divisional rival.

Ravens vs. Bengals props : One thing Baltimore does have going for it is a stout defence. Roquan Smith has been a game-changer on the front line and as a result, we’re not expecting much out of Joe Mixon on the ground.

Cowboys vs. Buccaneers picks : Brady has never lost to the Cowboys but this matchup is a little bit different considering how awful the Buccaneers have been this year. Expect Dallas’ offence to rebound after a tough Week 18 performance.

Chargers vs. Jaguars picks : In a showdown between Herbert and Lawrence we’re expecting Jacksonville’s defence to be the X-factor. Don’t count on Los Angeles scoring many points with Mike Williams sidelined.

Chargers vs. Jaguars props : Travis Etienne has been rumbling since being appointed as the lead back in Week 6 — look for him to have a huge impact against the Chargers’ weak run defence. We’re also backing one wide receiver while fading another.

Props, parlays and more NFL wild-card betting guide predictions

On top of our game-by-game picks and previews, we’ve got plenty of market-specific pieces — from TDs and teasers to props and parlays — to round out your weekend.

Parlay : What would wild-card weekend be without a parlay to accompany it? The Jaguars are running hot right now and our Nick Ashbourne is backing them, along with the Bills and an under in a +325 three-leg wager.

Prop picks : Burrow is a gunslinger but there’s a good chance he’ll struggle to move the ball against a rejuvenated Ravens defence. We’re also backing Allen and Barkley to use their legs in Buffalo and Minnesota.

Teaser : Wild-card weekend can get whacky, so we’re buying seven points in three different games for this week’s teaser. The Bills and Cowboys are among the teams we expect to cover generous alternate spreads.

TD picks : Mixon might have a tough time racking up yards against Baltimore’s defence but that doesn’t mean he can’t find the endzone. He’s one of our three plus-money picks to find pay dirt on wild-card weekend.

Underdogs : The dogs have been barking all season long and our Avery Perri has identified three teams that have upset potential this weekend.
