Lovi Poe and her longtime partner, Britain-born film producer Monty Blencowe, have said “I do” in a destination wedding in Berkshire, England on Sunday, Aug. 27 (Philippine Time).
The couple tied the knot in a ceremony held at the Cliveden House, witnessed by their close friends and family, as seen in an Instagram post by celebrity doctor Hayden Kho, which showed snippets of Poe and Blencowe in complete bliss.
“A beautiful Lovi story unfolds,” Kho’s caption read, along with the hashtag #LoviGoesFullMonty.
Meanwhile, events host Tim Yap shared a clip of the actress getting emotional as she walked down the aisle to meet the love of her life. An orchestra version of the song “Pangarap Ko ang Ibigin Ka” was playing in the background.
“‘I wanna savor this moment,’ said @lovipoe as walked down the aisle to become Mrs. @montyblencowe #LoviGoesfullMonty,” the post read.
On the other hand, fashion stylist Adrianne Concepcion shared a photo of Poe getting ready for her big day.
“It’s the beginning of your happily ever after. [white heart emoji] @lovipoe Congratulations to you and @montyblencowe,” she wrote.
The “Batang Quiapo” star looked breathtaking in a lace backless high-necked gown with long sleeves designed by Patricia Santos, while her groom looked dapper in a black suit with a long coat, cream waistcoat, and gray pants. A single bloom that matched the bride’s bouquet was pinned on the Hollywood producer’s lapel.
The wedding was a close-knit affair attended by the couple’s family and close friends, where the actress’ half-sister, Senator Grace Poe, Yap, Kho, and celebrity doctor Vicki Belo were among the notable guests.

The actress confirmed their engagement earlier this month, although she revealed that they had been engaged for about two years now. She also shared during an interview with local lifestyle magazine Metro that her partner asked for her hand in marriage after joining her at a “4:00 a.m. morning run” as an excuse to “watch the sunrise” with her.
The couple sparked relationship speculations in 2019, and was eventually confirmed by Poe in June of the same year. EDV
