The Masked Singer fans are divided after Natalie Imbruglia – aka Panda – was crowned winner of the celebrity singing competition with a twist. In tonight’s grand final (February 12), after six weeks of guessing games, the popular ITV show came to an end for another year.
Going into the final there were just Panda, Mushroom and Robobunny left standing. Each of the finalists sang solo before doing a duet with a former Masked Singer star, with Robobunny singing with Queen Bee, Panda teaming up with Hedgehog and Mushroom joining forces with Robin.

After Robobunny was voted off in third and revealed as Westlife’s Mark Feehily, both Panda and Mushroom sang their songs of the series, before the studio audience then had their say a final time, with host Joel Dommett revealing that Panda had narrowly beaten Mushroom.
While Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross and Rita Ora all guessed that runner up Mushroom was Charlotte Church, none of the panel predicted Natalie was Panda, meaning they were all left in a state of shock when she took off her mask.
Panda gave final performances of Blank Space by Taylor Swift and One Direction’s Story of My Life to a rapt audience in the studio, before offering the final clue: “Something I once said was quite Frankenstein”.
Viewers were divided, with some congratulating the star on her win while others voiced the opinion that Robobunny and Mushroom were robbed. One fan said: “Amazing Panda well deserved”, while another added: “Congratulations, Natalie – can’t believe no one guessed who you were.”
A third chimed in: “Amazing Panda, I love this show #TheMaskedSinger.” However, some were not so happy with the result, with one saying: “Robobunny Mark Feehilly was robbed.” Another fuming fan wrote: “Panda was the worst singer out of the three in this final, not deserved one bit.”
Another said: “I’m sorry but how on earth has Panda won this? Robobunny and Mushroom both miles better!” One fan called for viewers to “chill out”, adding: “You know the world’s gone mad when people are getting upset about a singing Panda.”
