Katie Price fans can’t wait to watch her new Mucky Mansion TV series as she tries to reform her once idyllic family home to its former glory.
The mum-of-five, 43, aims to show Channel 4 viewers that she can repair the dilapidated dwelling, which is said to be so grim her own kids are refusing to live there.
Katie bought the palatial pile in West Sussex from Cabinet Office Minister Francis Maude in 2014 for a hefty £2million fee.
The once stunning 11 bedroom property is nestled in leafy Horsham and was at one time an enviable piece of real estate.
However, in her Channel 4 DIY show, Katie is spurred into action after discovering what her home is now worth after years of ‘neglect’.

Back in 2019 the ex-glamour model discovered that the cesspool in her garden hadn’t been emptied for years.
Then there was the fire in 2020 which ripped through the home causing interior damage.
After the incident Katie and beau Carl Woods moved out of the property, but when they returned a neighbour told the Mirror last year: “It’s such a mess that it would probably cost her [Katie] a few hundred thousand just to make the place liveable again.
“The land is littered with flytipping, the cesspit needs to be replaced, there’s fire damage and the ceiling is still damaged from the flood, so there’s damp all through the house as well.”
Another source, who was once thought to be a regular visitor told the Sun : “The state of Katie’s home may be under closer scrutiny now, but it’s been that way for years.
“Dogs’ mess has, on occasion, been left on the floor without being cleaned up, along with used kitty litter.”

Caretaker for her home in 2020, Charlie Farthing backed up the grim image of the reality star’s home.
He said the smell of cat and dog pee was everywhere and that the wind blew through broken windows around the house.
He also claimed the house had piles of dog poo everywhere.
In 2019 Katie tried to show her fans that the house wasn’t has shabby as everyone was making out.
However her good intentions backfired after a home video revealed more than she bargained for.
As bags of rubbish were seen piled up on the floors, Katie said just thinking about sorting through all the mess gives her a “headache”.
In the stables, it even seemed as though the horses had been replaced by piles of clothes.
There was also a huge pile of bird poo visible.
Lamenting her lack of organisation Katie said: “Instead of a horse there seems like there’s some bird s***.”
“I don’t need these clothes and I’m always saying what can I wear? Where do I start?”
Katie’s kids Junior, 16 and Princess, 14 were recently reported as saying they “hated” their mum’s mansion
A source told The Sun “While they were filming, Katie was upset to hear that Princess and Junior hate the house.”
But they added that the star was determined to ‘make the house a home again’.
Katie is said to take a hands-on approach during the three-part series of her show, which sees her knock up a mood board as well as buying fake grass for son Jett’s bedroom wall.
There is also the small matter of a spiritual cleanse in which the artist formerly known as Jordan tries to rid the house, which she believes is haunted, of a ‘curse’,
Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion airs on Channel 4 January 26 at 9pm.
