Channel 4 Jamie Oliver: Together: Inside celebrity chef’s ‘feud’ with Gordon Ramsay and the savage dig that sparked it
They are two of the world’s best known chefs and both British but for some reason there has been a bit of a ‘feud’ between the pair sizzling in the background for many years.
You would think with Jamie Olive r, 46, and Gordon Ramsay, 54, that they would be beyond playground name calling but with egos as big as these two its hard to cool things down.
The somewhat jokey ‘feud’ reportedly goes back to a comment made by Gordon in 2009 when he compared Australian journalist Tracy Grimshaw’s appearance to that of a pig.

Defending the journalist Jamie told The Sun: “Aussies aren’t forgiving. Once you’re gone, you’re gone. It’s never good to criticise a woman, especially when they’re loved by their country and you do it on national television.”
Not one to lie down or cower from a spat Gordon called Jamie a “one pot wonder” and said the last time he had been forced to complain about a meal it was at one of the Essex chef’s restaurants.
The Naked Chef then reportedly said that he thought Gordon’s wife Tana’s cookbook was better than the Hell’s Kitchen presenter’s book.

In 2017 Gordon also wrote a mock-apology letter to Jamie where he said sorry for criticising his weight.
“The last thing I want to do is look at your cute face and think: blubber, blubber, blubber,” he wrote.
Trying to distance himself from the ongoing ‘tensions’ Jamie ended up getting himself into more hot water.
Jamie told The Sun: “He’s got four kids and I’ve got five kids and I don’t want to be slagging off some kids’ dad on telly. It’s not nice.”
For Jamie enough was enough and he was determined to draw a line under the matter.
“Good luck to him. But we have both got kids, and I don’t know what sort of example we’re setting if we’re arguing like we’re in the playground,” he commented.
In 2019 it seemed the hatchet between the pair had finally been buried when Gordon appeared on the Jonathan Ross Show and expressed his sympathies for Jamie after the collapse of his restaurant chain.
He even revealed that the pair had come together for a barbecue in Cornwall.
He said: “We were on holiday last year together in Cornwall, he came round for a barbecue. Yes, we are friends, absolutely.
“No one wants to see anyone fail like that because at the heart of it, he is a super talented guy so it’s a great shame.”
