Pete, 26, and Sophie, 24, receive around £1,500 a month from Channel 4 for appearing on the hit TV shows, which is next on-screen tonight (October 29) at 9pm.
When they’re not filming the show, Pete works in insurance while Sophie has retrained in a completely new job after she was made redundant from Debenhams last year.
In 2020, Sophie lost her window dresser job at Debenhams after the store fell into administration.
At the time, she posted a picture of herself and colleagues in their uniforms on her Instagram page.
She captioned the photo: “We might be going but we are going with a smile #Debenhams.”

Sophie announced her new career venture on Gogglebox earlier this year, revealing that she was retraining to become a florist.
It only took her seven months to pass her floristry exams, and fans were thrilled to hear the good news.
Meanwhile, Pete has revealed the exciting news that he’s now a dad to a baby boy at the National Television Awards in September while walking the red carpet with his sister.
He also confirmed that he had got “married in secret” to his long-term fiancée, Paige Yeomans, who is thought to be an emergency service call handler.
The TV star said that he is “overwhelmed” after becoming a dad, and described his son as a “cool lad”.
He said: “It’s a bit overwhelming, got it all going on at the moment. He takes after his mum, not me.”
He also told OK! magazine that he had tied the knot with Paige, announcing: “I’m married now! It was nerve-wracking but the best day of my life. Well, second-best day as I’m a dad now, too.
“I’m buzzing [to be at the NTAs] as I got a full night’s sleep in a hotel so I’m well happy.”
“Being a dad is tiring. The lack of sleep is not cool but it’s definitely worth it.”
