BBC EastEnders’ Milly Zero shows off her makeup transformation as she sits in the chair as Dotty Cotton for the first time in two years
Milly Zero has showed off her makeup transformation. Taking to Instagram, she shared the sped-up video to her 80.5k followers.
The clip, captioned “First time in the makeup chair in two years because of Covid!!!! Missed this!” shows Milly getting a makeover from artist Tayla Tomlin.
According to a video shared to EastEnders ‘ Twitter account, the actors were doing their own makeup during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney, said: “Also, I have to do my own makeup. It’s crazy. So, we’ve all been given our own brushes and our own little makeup bags with our character make-up in. All fresh and brand new. It’s all been sanitised.”

But now that restrictions have been lifted, Milly and her co-stars are back in their makeup chairs. And it couldn’t come sooner as Milly’s character Dotty Cotton has been struggling for the past few weeks.
Most recently, she collaborated with her father Tom Cotton whom she believed to be her uncle. The two collaborated in an attempt to get Dot Cotton’s savings from Sonia Fowler. In the storyline, Tom posed as Sonia’s father to get the money Dotty belives rightfully belongs to her.

Away from the Square, Milly leads a life much more glamorous than Dotty’s. The 22-year-old graduated from the BRIT school and her career began even before as she starred in CBBC’s All At Sea at 13 years old. Her boyfriend is no stranger to the spotlight either – she has been dating musician Ransom Fa since 2020.
